Hannah Fountain is a self taught artist living in Moses Lake, Washington. She began drawing and painting in her early childhood in California, always being drawn to realism and the effects of light in artwork. In 2019, Hannah launched her business as an artist.
“Art is just in my DNA...It’s what I was born to be. I have enjoyed every second. For me, creating art is a way to speak when I don’t have words. It’s a way to remind myself and others of the important moments or feelings that humans experience. I love being part of memorializing these moments for others.Being an artist has given me an entrance into the lives of so many beautiful people.I have celebrated with them and cried with them as we create brush strokes of memories of their most meaningful experiences. Seeing the glimmer in someones’s eyes as they experience a connection with my artwork is beyond me.
I especially love painting the ocean. It’s where I go to recharge. I grew up visiting my grandparents on the California Coast. Smelling the salt air, sinking my toes into the sand, watching sunsets and listening to the song of the crashing waves. Water & light are two of the most healing elements in nature. Beyond basic survival, we are naturally drawn to them! There’s so much wonder in God’s creation! That wonder is what drives us to create, to learn, to know & be known. That is why I continue to pursue a life filled with beautiful moments, frozen on a canvas, catching my breath, and healing hearts.”
